Marilyn Wright is an anointed singer, performer and songwriter that hails from the midwest city of Cleveland, OH.  Growing up, Marilyn was influenced by vocal powerhouses such as Yolanda Adams, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. 

Marilyn’s first live performance was at the age of 7, where she sung in the community stage play, “The Moral Masters”, written by the late Clifton Beasley.  At an early age, Marilyn began cultivating her passion for singing and worship by singing on her church’s praise team and writing her own songs of worship unto God.

Marilyn earned her Bachelors Degree in Music Business from the world-renowned, Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

Aside from her music ministry, Marilyn serves as a mentor to young women locally and nationwide.

Marilyn is a touring actress with the hit stage plays, “A Good Man is Easy to Find” and “All I Really Wanted”, written by Nathaniel Burge, Jr. and presented by Glory Movements.  Marilyn has worked with household artist names such as J. Moss, Earnest Pugh and Isabel Davis and Leon Timbo.

Some of Marilyn’s musical accomplishments to date are being the grand prize winner of the Coca-Cola Talent Showcase Competition, singing the National Anthem for the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Baron’s Hockey Team, and being featured on Showtime at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY.  Marilyn was also selected as a top finalist finalist in the prestigious Singer’s Showcase presented by Berklee College of Music.


Marilyn is set to travel the nations, sharing her love for Christ with the mission of ushering audiences into the presence of God.  Her newest single, “You Alone Are Worthy”, is slated for release to all online distribution and digital streaming platforms beginning Friday, May 5, 2023.

Marilyn's mission is to inspire and uplift her audiences through the arts and mentorship.
